About MFMI

Men for Missions International (MFMI) is "the laymen’s voice of OMS International," a faith mission headquartered in Greenwood, Indiana, and serving Christ in more than 45 countries.

MFMI, consisting entirely of lay people, helps hundreds of OMS missionaries evangelize, plant churches, develop Christian leadership, and eventually partners with the national churches that evolve.

MFMI accomplishes its task through men from every walk of life who are willing to make this spiritual commitment:

I will do whatever God asks me to do;
I will go wherever God asks me to go;
I will give whatever God asks me to give.

Known as “The Short-term Mission Specialists,” MFMI has organized and helped more than 20,000 men and women serve on OMS mission fields during its over 50-year history.

MFMers help missionaries by releasing their personal skills and abilities in a variety of practical, direct ways. Included are work teams, medical teams, evangelism teams, intercessory prayer teams and teams of professionals who are prepared to teach. Often, teams are involved in a combination of these ministries.

MFMI exists to serve Christ by assisting the worldwide ministries of OMS. Our mandate is compassion, our priority is establishing the Lordship of Jesus Christ in each MFMers life, and our goal is to provide opportunities for personal obedience to the Great Commission.
