A Testimony of God's Work in Africa

God gave Abdul and his family (African nationals) a burden for an island off the coast of Africa, home to 350,000 unreached Muslims. Abdul’s family sold all they owned and moved there to work. They shared about God’s love and salvation through Jesus, though there were few opportunities to witness. Still, they stayed on the island and continued to pray. Abdul’s wife became ill, but they still stayed and prayed. Then, she died. Instead of throwing down the burden God had given him, Abdul lifted the cross even higher, exalting Jesus Christ as he did. Thank God for people like Abdul who forsake the self to serve wholly surrendered lives before God. To date, 6 to 8 people regularly worship in Abdul’s home.
