Brent and Kim Burdick
Field Leadership/Church Development
Brent and Kim Burdick have served with OMS International since 1991. They are involved in field leadership and church development.
Brent is the field leader for the OMS ministry in the Philippines. He is president of the OMS-related Faith Evangelical Church of the Philippines (FECP) and has also been the senior pastor of Faith Fellowship Ministry Center, a congregation of more than 1,500 in Manila. He is past president and chairman of the board of Faith Bible College, the OMS pastoral training institution in the Philippines.
Kim assists with various ministries in the church such as discipleship, counseling, women’s ministries and people in crisis. She coordinated the National Women’s Congress for FECP and was the coordinator of the FECP 20th Anniversary Committee. She also ministers to their two children still in the home, Devri and Danya, who attend Faith Academy in Manila. The Burdick's other two children, Drew and Dawson, live in Charlotte, North Carolina.
OMS started ministry in the Philippines in 1982. Today, there are 13 fully organized self-supporting churches in FECP, and 18 others are currently being planted.
Brent is a Beeson International Leader in the doctor of ministry degree program at Asbury Theological Seminary. He also holds a master of arts in religion degree with an emphasis in world missions and evangelism from Asbury Seminary. Kim earned a B.S. degree in nutrition and dietetics at the University of Oklahoma.
