Married in 1996, Christian and Robin MacKinnon arrived on the Mexico field in August of 2005. Joining Christian and Robin and serving in Mexico are their children Madeline, Joshua, Ethan, and Amelia.

Christian’s primary roles involve directing the equipping ministry which includes training and equipping nationals, recruiting, short term teams, and training of missionary staff. In addition he serves on the ECC Board for Mexico and works with a local ECC team in church planting. He also works with discipling and evangelism in the Social Outreach Ministry, which involves mainly working with homeless street kids. Starting the first Mexico City MOPS is one of Robin’s ministries. Her role as founder of the ministry entails discipling and encouraging the leadership team members. However her number one ministry is caring and nurturing for their 4 small children.

The family enjoys rich relationships with the Mexican people. The Lord has allowed them to be shining lights in numerous situations and thus many of their friends have come to a saving relationship with Jesus. Many of their stories can be found at www.mackinnonministry.org.
