Matt and Stacey Ayars

Teachers

Matt and Stacey were married in June 2005, and that October were accepted as full-time missionaries to Haiti with OMS International. Both of them work primarily with Emmaus Biblical Seminary (EBS) in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. Matt teaches several Old Testament courses and Hebrew. Stacey teaches first-year English and is the seminary’s marketing director, raising awareness and support for the more than 60 Haitian pastors, Christian leaders, missionaries and evangelists that attend EBS.

Matt and Stacey graduated from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky, in May 2006. Matt finished with a degree in Bible and theology and Stacey with a journalism major and missions minor.

The Ayars spent four months of 2007 in Canada, studying French, before moving to Haiti in August 2007 to begin their first five-year term.

Through various missions opportunities in college, the Lord brought Matt and Stacey to realize that The Answer for their lives, Jesus, is The Answer for the world. Knowing Him has made all the difference in their lives, and they are grateful for the opportunity to train pastors and make Him known in Haiti.

Matt and Stacey stand on His loving faithfulness and upon your prayers. Please pray for them as they live and work in Haiti. The Ayars have one daughter, Lily Sue, born January 2, 2009.
