Haiti fuel shortage

God has answered the prayers of Haitian missionaries and  supporters. Radio 4VEH recently purchased enough fuel to keep the station online with a limited schedule.

As of September 12, 2008, Radio 4VEH resumed sporadic operations. This epicenter of spirituality provides comfort to Haitians in their time of need. On September 10, they ran out of fuel due to the storms.

When tragedy strikes as it has in Haiti, people need the comfort of the Gospel, hymns and fellowship, as well as family updates on missing persons and other storm victims. As Haitians mourn the loss of lives and property, they need the spiritual comfort this resource provides them. The station will only be broadcasting a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the evening in an effort to conserve the fuel. All Haitian businesses are closing at noon to conserve fuel, and this has increased the panic among Haitians. Many are risking the long walk from Gonaives to Cap Haitien to escape the city.

OMS International is continuing to take donations for the Fuel Shortage fund, #469960. Your donations will allow Radio 4VEH to stay online and continue broadcasting.
